Top Class Speaker for Vocations Ireland Summer Seminar 2014

Vocations Ireland are delighted to announce that Sr. Deborah Borneman. SS.C.M. the Associate Director of Prorammes and Resources for the National Religious Vocation Conference in America will be addressing the members of Vocations Ireland at the Vocations Ireland Summer Seminar on Saturday 17th May 2014 in Emmaus Retreat and Conference Center in Swords.

The title of this year's Summer Seminar is; 'Encouraging and equipping religious communities for vocation ministry'. 

Sr. Debbie began her position at NRVC in August, 2011. A Sister of St. Cyril and Methodius and a native of Pittsburgh, PA, Sr. Debbie served 10 years as vocation director for her congregation. She has also ministered as coordinator for vocation awareness programs for the Diocese of Harrisburg and as a certified Catholic campus minister at Bloomsburg University of PA. Other previous ministry experiences include: youth ministry, religious education, and parish pastoral care. Sr. Debbie has a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University of Chicago.

Sr. Debbie has great expertise in vocation ministry and a passion for this very important ministry.

The Vocations Ireland Summer Seminary promises to be a very informative day aimed at encouraging and equipping religious communities and missionary societies for vocation ministry.
