Hospitality Course in India

The newly established School of Hospitality of the Indian Province conducted its first Hospitality Course at St. John of God Hospital, Kattappana, from 6th to 9th April 2011.  The course was attended by 32 people  from

 centres of the Province and different departments of the hospital.

The course covered 15 subjects ranging from “The Value and Meaning of Life” to “The Changing Face of the Order”.  Presentations were made by Brothers, Sisters and laity.  A Course Certificate was presented to participants at the conclu

ding session.

 The course was organised by Brother Francis Mannaparampil, who is the Director of the Province’s School of Hospitality. The Provincial, Brother Antony Palamattom, was present for the inaugural and concluding sessions. This event was one of those by which the Indian Province is marking and celebrating "The Year of the Family of Saint John of God".

 The Province is currently preparing for a scheduled General Canonical Visitation which will be carried out by General Councillor, Brother Vincent Kochamkunnel, beginning on 29 May and concluding on 27 June 2011.
